Elderly woman allegedly assaulted outside her home in Curtin

Police allege an elderly woman was assaulted on the street in southern Canberra earlier this month.

They are now calling for witnesses and information about the incident.

The elderly woman was allegedly pushed to the ground outside her home in Curtin at around 7:45 pm on 1 March 2025.

Her alleged attacker, a younger woman, was apparently walking a small white dog at the time.

Police believe this woman was 20 to 30 years of age and described her as having a dark complexion, blonde hair and a black mark on one of her arms.

“Police believe she walks her dog regularly in the area,” an ACT Policing spokesperson said.
