Catch the hilarious singing duo Sparrow Folk at the Street Theatre.
The dynamic, ukulele-donned duo ‘Sparrow Folk’ is back with a whole new set of rib-tickling tunes for the festive season!
“A Very Nestie Xmas” is Catherine Crowley and Juliet Moody’s brand new, strictly limited musical comedy show, guaranteed to make you double over with their double entendres and humorous rhymes. These award-winning turtle doves will be throwing the partridge out and bringing the party in. With a smorgasbord of songs new and old, Fox and Lark will fill your stockings to the brim with comedy gold.
A Very Nestie Xmas will feature parodies of Christmas songs, along with a few of their original tunes. They take on some political issues but mainly love finding the humour in everyday social endeavours, like our daily struggle to leave work before the boss loads us with last-minute tasks!
The lovely ladies are putting up two shows for your viewing pleasure, one on 7 December and one on 8 December.
For a taste of what these funny canaries (read: sparrows) have to offer, check out their hilarious hit song ‘Ruin your day’, which tackled the topic of breastfeeding in the best way they knew how – through humour.
Tickets are $30 standard, $27 for a group of 4+, and $25 concession, available here.
Come along and pop your Christmas crackers and celebrate yuletide under the tree with Sparrow-Folk, 7 and 8 December at The Street Theatre.
