For three weeks in October, Canberra’s free public art biennial ‘contour 556’ returns to Lake Burley Griffin, featuring national and international artists whose sculptures, performance, sound and digital projections have been selected in response to Australia’s political, cultural and physical history. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to engage in the puzzling and delightful art in the public space.
