The Trust is partnering with Landcare ACT, Meridian ACT and ACT Natural Resource Management to host another Pride Grows community event!

Pride Grows is an environment focused community group empowering LGBTQIA+ folk to connect with and care for nature through active, hands-on conservation.

It’s been a year since the Pride Grows community gathered together at Ginninderry to plant under and mid-story habitat for wildlife – an opportune time to pay the planting site a visit, and reconnect with fellow nature-lovers.

This event is for everyone (not just the original planting crew) and new faces are very welcome!

Come along and see how the planting is progressing and enjoy the myriad benefits of nature connection.

Plan for the day:

  • Meet at The Link building at 1pm
  • 1:15pm stroll down to the planting site accompanied by rangers from Ginninderry Conservation trust, talking points along the way
  • After an update on the plantings, Sally Holliday from Landcare ACT will lead the group through some nature connection activities
  • Head back to The Link to enjoy afternoon tea catered by Cafe Stepping Stone
  • Learn about how you can be involved in the Pride Grows program of activities for the coming seasons

If you have any questions about this event, email Sally via wellbeing@landcareact.org.au
