Cricket fans far and wide have flocked to Manuka Oval to get a glimpse of the action as Canberra welcomes test cricket to the territory for the first time.

Under cloudy skies, fans of all ages in Hawaiian shirts, bucket hats, and vibrant yellow suit jackets watched Australia finish the first session at 3/103 after a tricky first hour.

Region Media‘s photographer George Tsotsos was at the ground to capture all the action at this historic event.
