So it seems that the garbage guys will strike again next week. Again over loss of pay, it would really be great if the TWU could understand that overtime is not considered part of your pay, it is extra and if your lucky enough to get it, you beauty if not, welcome to the real world.
Regardless, striking after Easter weekend is not targeting TAMs, just the members of the public who have generally had a gutful of the over inflated opinion the TWU has of itself and the statements made by the Canberra TWU rep do nothing to improve the opinion of most Canberra residents. Wake up people, if you want to make the Government suffer, do so but when your actions directly target the public, we do not see the Government as a problem (jeez that hurts to say) just you.
