UPDATED 11:30 am: Good news, Canberra, Summer Roche has been found safe and well.

8:40 am: ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to help find missing nine-year-old Summer Roche, who was last seen in Florey.

Summer has not been seen or heard from since 7:30 pm last night (Wednesday 4 May). She was reported missing by her mother.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 140cm (4’6″) tall, with long dark brown hair with a purple tint, brown eyes, a nose ring on the left side of her nose, and is of slim build.

She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved black Adidas-branded shirt, camouflage Adidas tracksuit pants and white Nike shows.

Summer knows how to use the Belconnen bus route, and also knows her way around the Belconnen Mall and Florey shops.

Police and family hold concerns for Summer’s mental health and welfare.

Anyone who has information that could help police find Summer is urged to call 131 444, quoting reference number 7101169.
