Outloudthinker has sent in a magnificent view of the Lake, Black Mountain Tower, and the National Museum. Taken from a balloon, and including other balloons, it’s a very nice addition to this series.

Yeah….Kate made a “right royal mess” of that little public exhibition.

Indeed I do, I still remember the picture that was drawn by someone at my primary school and ended up in the newsletter just after the “implosion”.
The caption read “Them blowing up the hospital”.

You mean the old “Royal Canberra Hospital ” ?

If you look very very carefully, you might just see me and my doggie on Commonwealth Avenue bridge.

Canberra_unsung_hero: The National Museum has always looked like it came from “la-la land”…and to think it is sitting on my birth place.

It’s an absolutely marvellous picture — the only thing that spoils it is the appearance of that “National Museum” on the peninsula…. It’s totally out of skew with the rest of the scene, and looks like something out of “la-la land” !

The file size is only 1.5 mgs, i’ll just send it to you if you mail me with your address.

*sigh*

A victim of my own success…

If I haven’t mailled it to you on monday morning mail me to hassle me about it OK?

Wow, now that’s gorgeous.

Any chance of getting the full resolution version so I can make a print of it?
