Insatiable Banalities Podcast # 115 – Joe Oppenheimer

By johnboy - 8 July 2009 1

Canberra’s longest running and least reliable podcast seems to have found some sort of rhythm at the edge of the catastrophe curve and returns for another week.

Which means that in podcast number 115 you can take marvel and the songwriting magic of rising local star Joe Oppenheimer. (And also hear him talk crap with the Insatiable Banalities team, oh the wonder!)

Track list:

    Story of You. 5:03
    Time, Time. 14:15
    Maginot Line. 24:02
The Man who Saved the World. 32:05
    Should You Ever. 42:43
    The Distance (Robert Oppenheimer). 53:18
    Sentimental Mood. (George Bishop). 65:34

For the devotees, the new podcast feed (meaning the old one is kaput) can be found at:

http://the-riotact.com/?feed=rss2&cat=3253

(So in iTunes you choose the “Advanced” tab, then “Subscribe to podcast” and bung the above address in to get it automatically instead of having to guess when the next instalment will arrive.)

Also Facebookers are encouraged to become fans of the podcast, which will sometimes get you bonus photos, plus a vicarious cool.

What’s Your opinion?

That is the last time I ever did see that capo. A whole year of magical possession and one simple podcast scares it off. Humph. -Joe
