Jimbo the Great Fundraising Dinner

This Saturday evening, a few of us are hosting an event to raise money for the family of Jim Kroezen (AKA Jimbo the Great).

The death of Jimbo in September was a huge loss to his family and the community in general. Jimbo was publican at the Wood Duck Inn at Hall and he gave generously of his time to many great causes.

Date: 10 November
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Gold Creek Station (Victoria Street, on the way into Hall from the east)
Cost: $100 (tables of eight are available)

There will be live music from Rhymes with Orange, auctions, magic, raffle and a 2 course buffet dinner. It will be a great evening, and one the Hall community will remember for a long time.

It isn’t much notice, but you can imagine the red tape we’ve had to negotiate in order to get this event going. If you know of anyone who would be interested, please let them know now!

Finally, we are selling raffle tickets for the fund. Tickets are $5 for your chance to win 1st prize of a boat with fishing and camping gear to the value of $8,500, or 2nd prize of a wheelbarrow full of trademans tools to the value of $1,500.
