Scar the Rooster gives Miss Black the ultimatum to either stop eating birds or never return to the barnyard again. Miss Black encounters all sorts of difficulties in her search for other types of food.
Christmas Capers is a story about two kittens that are usually mischievous and often naughty. Christmas Eve arrives. All is well until the kittens decide to disobey their Aunt Fatty Catty and sneak out of the barn loft once everyone has gone to sleep. Trouble and adventure transpire when they encounter Mr Albert Fox. The fox thinks he can out-smart the barnyard residents and Santa Claus.
Robyn Goodwin lives in the small Heritage Listed town of Braidwood. The characters in her stories have been inspired by the animals that live in and around Robyn’s backyard. Robyn draws with pencil, water-colour and ink and is always experimenting with technique and expression. Her illustrations pay particular attention to nature and the environment whilst encompassing fantasy and good old-fashioned story-telling.
