A new Canberra government cloud facility is expected to inject over $1 billion dollars into the local economy.
Joined by Minister Marise Payne and ACT Senator Zed Seselja, Canberra Data Centre’s new Fyshwick 1 facility was officially opened by Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
The data facility, which was purpose built for the federal public service, will reportedly save millions of taxpayer dollars by reducing electricity bills, lowering water consumption and saving government departments tens of millions in rent per annum.
