Man to face court after Isabella Plains burglary

A 41-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with multiple offences relating to a burglary in Isabella Plains.

Around 10:30 am on Wednesday morning (25 September), police attended a home in Isabella Plains following a triple-zero call reporting that an unknown man was inside the residence.

Upon police arrival, the man allegedly fled into the bush on foot but was apprehended a short time later. Police allege a search of the man revealed a stolen mobile phone and items consistent with committing a burglary.

The man was transported to the ACT Watch House and will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with burglary, going equipped for theft and theft. Police will oppose bail.
