A 52-year-old Higgins man was arrested yesterday and will face court on money laundering and drug trafficking charges.

At about 6:20 pm, members from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations and Patrol executed a search warrant at the man’s residence where they discovered 400 grams of methamphetamine, trafficable quantities of cocaine, GHB and chemicals involved in the manufacture of drugs.

Prohibited weapons were also found and seized, as well as an amount of cash.

Police will oppose bail.

ACT Policing has asked that anyone with information about the sale or manufacture of illicit drugs to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
