home.byholly has just had a major growth spurt, with the addition of the McReynolds family — a father, mother and son team, all passionate about, and experts in, real estate.

Even though now larger, the home.byholly team remains dedicated to providing boutique, personal, hands-on service, something the McReynolds are masters at.

Jenny McReynolds says the trio was attracted to join home.byholly because of its culture and reputation for providing quality service.

“We wanted the right fit and wanted to work with a dynamic team that has a genuine and personal approach to selling real estate,” says Jenny. “We worked with Holly Komorowski for five years previously, in a much larger real estate firm, and always respected the way she operated.”

Jenny and husband Michael have more than 18 years’ experience in selling real estate, giving them exceptional industry knowledge. Son Mark joined them more than nine years ago, adding strength to the team.

The McReynolds joined home.byholly at the end of June and have already exchanged on several houses and currently have several under offer.

With in excess of 1600 personal sales throughout their combined real estate careers, the McReynolds have sold homes all over Canberra and in rural areas, with about 85 per cent of their business coming from referrals and repeat clients. They have sold more than 800 properties in both Hackett and Watson alone.

Jenny, Michael and Mark McReynolds strive to give each and every client a positive, gratifying real estate experience.

What’s their secret to success?

Jenny says being quiet achievers helps. “Our market knowledge is invaluable, but just as important is our approach. We strive to give each and every client a positive, gratifying real estate experience,” says Jenny. “We’re open, courteous, responsive and approachable.”

With a rural background, Jenny, Michael and Mark are down-to-earth, cherishing the values of sincerity and honesty in all they do, including in business. After moving from Cootamundra at a young age, Jenny spent most of her life growing up in the inner north, and the family lives in Hackett.

“We have a great family dynamic and what we all love most about the industry is working with people, making good friends and getting clients to where they want to be with property — whether that’s selling or buying,” says Jenny. “We love working with clients at all stages of their lives, whether it’s a first home buyer, someone who is upgrading or downsizing or someone who wants to enter the investment market.”

Jenny fondly remembers helping an elderly client in her 80s who had lived in Hackett all her life. She was at the stage where downsizing was the most logical move.

“She was so frightened at the thought of moving,” says Jenny. “We helped her find a new home in Hackett so she wouldn’t have to leave the area. It was emotional the day she moved in and we found it so special to help her find the right place.

“As with all clients, our aim with this wonderful woman was to make the process as stress-free and easy as possible.”

The McReynolds family were also attracted to home.byholly’s distinctive and fresh marketing.

“The real estate market is highly competitive,” says Jenny. “It’s flooded with agencies, so it takes a special look to stand out in the crowd. The home.byholly team is a great bunch, with a great focus, great mindset and great marketing.”

Holly herself is thrilled with the McReynolds clan.

“When they say they’re down-to-earth and always there to help, they mean it,” says Holly. “They’re a natural fit for who we are and what we stand for and that includes giving each client a memorable experience.”

When Holly first broke free from the real estate agency she was working for to start her own business, she did so determined to be different, but not just for the sake of it.

Holly felt there was a gap in the market for a fresh approach and she was determined to fill it. That included her inviting and highly noticeable branding, designed around feminine, soft and relatable colours.

The agency’s soft pink signs call out a conversational ‘Buy me’ (instead of the more predictable ‘For sale’) and big heart stickers announce #soldby.Holly (instead of just ‘Sold).

The agency’s unique and inviting campaigns—distinct in the real estate industry—have led home.byholly to win multiple awards, including for Residential Property Campaign of the Year 2017 and 2018 at the Annual REA Excellence Awards.
