Police are investigating a fire at Woden Athletics Park after a shed containing sports equipment went up in flames on Monday night (8 October).
Around 11:15 last night, emergency services were called to a fire at Woden Athletics Park. ACT Fire & Rescue attended the scene with two pumpers, a commander and a breathing apparatus vehicle.
The fire was located in a shed on the western side of the park, and firefighters were forced to cut into the shed to extinguish the fire and ventilate.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the flames and remained on site to monitor any flare-ups.
The site was handed to ACT Policing for investigation.
