With the Rabbitohs beating Cronulla, the Raiders sank to second last on the NRL ladder after their loss to the Sea Eagles on Saturday night at Canberra Stadium. A match summary is available at the Canberra Times.

Despite the loss it was an entertaining match with a bit of biff. Ben Cross, playing his last game for the Raiders (he’s signed with the Melbourne Storm) was sin binned for 5 minutes following a punch up with Steve Matai and was also placed on report for keeing Terry Hill in the back. Following sledging earlier in the week between Ian Hindmarsh and Terry Hill, the crowd was livid when Hill went down in the early minutes – earning his side a penalty. The crowd gave plenty to Hill as well.

Saturday’s game was also the last for Ian Hindmarsh and Matt Adamsom – who are joining French club Les Catalans next year. I was disappointed to see that most of the members didn’t bother staying back after the game to congratulate the team on their efforts this year and to say goodbye to Ian, Ben and Matt.

My comments here are rather late coming, but I would just like to take the time to say :

“STUPID FKN NRL BOGANS”

ps: Don’t get me wrong. I also hate the Brumbies with a passion, never went to any of their games, never will. Unless I was payed. Overpayed bogans.

hahahahahahahahahaha

blah blah blah

I’ve been reminded that Parramatta beat Manly in both the 82 and 83 grand finals. It may have been in semis that Parramatta haven’t beaten Manly.

At least we can take some consolation knowing that the Sea Eagles will get flogged by Parramatta this Sunday. But I heard on the radio yesterday that Parramatta have never beaten Manly in a finals series.
