Hi guys Im looking for venues to hold 50 guest for a renewal of vows celebration for my husband and me. We have been married 5 yrs in March and want to renew our vows.

Our ceremony is at the Gold Creek chapel in Gold creek. Any suggestions would be grateful.

I have roughly 12 mths to plan this.

I can’t decide if this is pretentious attention seeking or a little bit sad. Who exactly in this marriage needs such grandiose reassurance after only 5 years ?

If you are still together in 20 years, that is something to celebrate.

Please do not expect presents.

god, only 5 years? I’ve been married 5 years and I am wondering why the hell I am married!

*jokes*

but really, only 5? you obviously don’t have kids yet. you seem to still have that glow!

5 years? Wow, that’s not long.

Any who, try the Gold Creek Tourist Resort or The Abbey: they’re both in staggering distance of that chapel.

Could be the definition of optimism, what happens if you break up in the next 12 months? Statistics would indicate you’re relatively safe, but not over the three years from now.

Must be better ways to keep in contzct with your friends. have you tried the new thing called facebook?

The Functions at Federation room is quite nice,I think is is run by the same family as the chapel so you might be able to get a good deal.

Five years seems pretty soon to me, have one of you done something to your vow(el)s which requires them to be renewed?

The George Harcourt is close and could probably handle 50….

I didn’t realise people did this unless it was for a big number like 50 or something. How very Mariah Carey of you!

I hope you don’t expect gifts.

I still don’t understand what the difference between wedding and engagement gifts are… or why two are needed.
