A number of local acts will be joining forces at The Polo on Sunday afternoon for Gig For Gaza, raising funds for the Palestinian Australian New Zealand Medical Association. Head down from 2 pm to catch performances from Brass Knuckle Brass Band, Dog Name, Babyfreeze and more.

In a tragic blow to music in the capital, the East Row venue sideway will be closing its doors permanently this weekend. Friday night will see its final show feature sets from the likes of Assassins 88, Kilroy and The Narcissists.

Legendary instrumental rockers Dirty Three will be returning to town early next week. You’ll be able to catch the trio at the Canberra Theatre on Tuesday evening.
