Music fans have a wealth of options to choose from this Saturday with just about every venue in town set to throw a New Year’s Eve bash of some kind.
Smith’s Alternative will be playing host to three local party-starting bands in Lucy Ridge & The Derby Widows, The Fuelers, and The Standard Deviants. Transit Bar is also an option for the all-local approach with Tom Woodward, The Decideds, Novakova, and Midnight Removalists gearing up for the bright disco lights of Fantasy Of Colour.
There’s plenty going on throughout the week as well, with Blackbird hosting the likes of Ava Martina and Guitar Case Troubadours in its underground Alinga Street venue. As Famous As The Moon returns to Molly on Thursday before the Molly Prohibition Party rings in the new year on Saturday night.
