Police have released an image of a male they want to identify after a teenager was allegedly robbed on a bus late last year.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said a male allegedly approached a teenager at the Woden Bus Interchange at about 6 pm on 22 November 2024 and they had a short conversation before getting onto the same bus.

A short time later, the male allegedly approached the teenager while the latter was seated on the bus, demanded their phone and threatened them with violence.

The teenager gave in and the male allegedly completed a factory reset on the phone before allowing them to get off the bus.
