Young boy allegedly assaulted by group near Gungahlin Bus Interchange

ACT Policing has called for witnesses as detectives investigate an alleged assault near the Gungahlin Bus Interchange.

Police were called to the location at about 3 pm on Wednesday, 10 April, following reports a boy had been assaulted by a group of youths.

It’s believed the group followed the child around the interchange for some time while shouting at him before allegedly assaulting him outside Gungahlin Marketplace.

“At the time of the incident there were a large number of bystanders at the Gungahlin Bus Interchange, and police believe there are members of the public who may have information regarding the incident,” an ACT Policing statement read.
