This Monday the 14th of December get along to the Phoenix in the bus interchange in Civic to catch the Feldons, Noti, Tessa Devine and Happy Axe.
8.00pm – Happy Axe
Emma Kelly’s new solo project Happy Axe uses violin, musical saw, vocals, digital manipulation, looping and effecting to create layers of sound.
8.45pm – Tessa Devine
She’s immediately mesmerising and unexpected. Looped guitar harmonies knitted with sublime soprano harmonies, the intricacy of her songs magical.
9.30pm – noti
Rick Berry & Craig Kemp are a Melbourne based duo combining electronic and acoustic sounds. Craig got nude at a Pizza Hut, then we made tunes, our only regret is shaving Rick’s mullet. http://www.facebook.com/noti.band
10.30pm – The Feldons
The Feldons sound as if they’d be much happier walking down Carnaby Street wearing paisley shirts or union jack waistcoats whilst being immersed in the spirit of the sexual and political revolutions of the sixties.
