A 26-year-old Reid man and a 21-year-old Queanbeyan woman will face ACT Magistrates court today, following an incident in Wanniassa where a stolen vehicle allegedly collided with parked cars and knocked down a pedestrian.
Police said a Wanniassa woman would also be summonsed to appear before court at a later date.
They said that about 5.15 pm on Thursday 17 August officers were called to a disturbance at the Wanniassa Shops in Sangster Place.
Police will allege that the 26-year-old male was driving a stolen motor vehicle and seen reversing at high speed.
The vehicle allegedly collided with several parked cars and knocked down a male pedestrian, dragging him for a short distance.
The 26-year-old Reid man is charged with driving while disqualified, driving a motor vehicle without consent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault. Police will oppose bail.
The 21-year-old Queanbeyan woman is charged with driving a motor vehicle without consent and unlawful possession of stolen property.
