As a kid I remember when the floor space behind the couch would be solid lego and my brother and I would create all sorts of fabulous structures. As a parent I associate lego with that pain (quite unlike anything else), of stepping on a brick in bare feet. I have friends however who are what can only be classed as ‘lego officionados’. Their houses are filled with fabulous and intricate structures and lego is serious business.
Whether a dabbler or an expert, the Brick Expo is fun for all.
The Brick Expo is an exhibition of unique creations by local and interstate collectors and modellers. You will find all sorts of models – some static, some moving – in a variety of themes from Transport to Star Wars.
Brick Expo takes place on the 23rd and 24th of August at the Hellenic Club.
