Canberra’s hottest property portal has launched a new premium service, Zango Million Dollar Homes. The portal lists homes with price guides over a million dollars, and those being auctioned that are likely to be sold for over a million.

The prestigious listings are a convenient way for those looking to climb the property ladder to view homes they are aspiring to buy.

Joint Managing Director of Zango Matthew Herbert says that currently there is no single point where buyers can access prestigious properties.

“We wanted to make sure that we highlight all the premium properties in Canberra in one place,” said Mr Herbert.

“It makes a great deal of sense to be first in the market with a product that enables people looking for a premium property to look without having to search by suburb or postcode.”

In a sign of a maturing property market, these impeccable homes can be found across the ACT. While houses in suburbs like O’Malley, Forrest and Kingston are well known for fetching over a million dollars, there are both new and established homes for sale in nearly every region of Canberra hitting seven-figures.

The landmark property at 8 Carrington Street in Deakin, listed by Berkely Residential Kingston Agent Bill Lyristakis, would make waves wherever it was located.

From the magnificent heated pool and entertaining area with remote controlled rangehood over the barbeque, a white theme flows through the house, complemented by lime-washed American Oak floorboards and glass panels on the stairs.

It has a massive list of mod-cons, including in-slab heating, a built-in commercial fridge, two dishwashers and, importantly, a wine fridge.

The home also discreetly hides all toilet cisterns behind the wall, has a ducted vacuum system, an intercom system with a colour camera at the front door, an automated sprinkler system, double-glazed windows, five large flatscreen televisions, and a very convenient outdoor beer fridge (built-in, of course).

Meanwhile, Luton Agents Tim and Justine Burke have listed a Weston home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a wine cellar to die for, capable of storing up to 1350 bottles of wine, reached by a ladder from the butler’s pantry.

The lifestyle is an absolute dream, with a pool, a home cinema, a downstairs utility area with its own kitchenette and bathroom, and just to complete the picture, a waterfall. This beautiful home is at 68 Buvelot Street.

And if you’re looking around Belconnen way, this five-bed, two-bathroom home at 17 O’Rourke Street, Weetangera, listed by Home by Holly Agents Cris O’Brien and Sally Strang, is a perfect family home, with a walk-in robe the size of a small apartment, and a beautiful garden and pool.

There are interesting feature walls with industrial styling, but the finishes make the home feel warm and inviting, with a cosy colouring to the stone benchtops and timber floors.

The fifth bedroom would make an ideal nursery, with access through either the master bedroom or the living room.

The exterior is also a dream, with landscaped gardens, an edible kitchen garden and fruit trees, and a glasshouse for the green-thumbed gardeners to strike their own seedlings, and a heated pool with paving and shade cloth, ideal for both adults and kids.

You can view these prestigious properties on Zango Million Dollar Homes and other hot listings on Zango.
