Bit of excitement in Queanbeyan last night

So that’s what was going on. I stooged through after 6pm to grab some stuff at the home brew shop, and Crawford st had cop cars and bikes with lights going, and everyone (including the cops) standing looking down the street that goes behind the pool.

What about a tear-gas canister through the window, shortly followed by the black pyjama brigade?

I’ll be really concerned though if I see the Kevlar Stab resistant school wear there now selling in Briton though. But with looneys like this taking potshots and klevar wielding idiots, maybe bullet/stab proof casual wear wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Yeah, the guy was shooting at people and cars that were going past. There were a bunch of kids (in true Queanbeyan style) standing there mouthing off to the cops during the entire thing, until one of the by-standers told them to rack off and they eventually disapeared down to Woolies. Cops in bullet-proof jackets were seen way before 11pm… Anyway, next time this happens, we’ll strap a pillow to fnaah, send them in and hope for the best – problem solved!

That’s like comparing a kid with some fireworks to the Unabomber.
