Award winning author and Australian Children’s Laureate, Boori Monty Pryor, will visit Woden Library on Thursday 11 April 2013 for an hour of stories, singing and dancing.

Boori Monty Pryor will be making an appearance at Woden Library on Thursday the 11th of April for some singing, dancing and storytelling.

“We expect this special event will be very popular with local children and their families as Boori is well known for his fun and dynamic story telling skills,” said Vanessa Little, Director, Libraries ACT. “He is well known for incorporating dance, song (including playing the didgeridoo) and humour into his stories.

“Boori shares the role of the inaugural Australian Children’s Laureate alongside author Alison Lester and is well-known for his best-selling children’s stories Shake a Leg, Njunjul the Sun and Flytrap which were co-authored by Meme McDonald. “
