Where is the bread when you knead it?

There are those wintry days when you just want to stay inside but then you run out of bread! The shop seems so far away. What if you could make your own bread and heat up your kitchen in the process? Well, you can. Come along to the Canberra Environment Centre’s bread making workshop on Saturday the 9 of August and you’ll rise out of bed each day a little lighter.

‘Bread making is actually very simple. I hold these classes to show people how fun and simple it really is,’ says our workshop presenter Margaret O’Connor.

One benefit of making your own bread is that you can throw whatever you like in it – apricots, sultanas, cheese… So come along and let Margaret show you everything you need to know to get started.

When: Saturday 9 August
Time: 10am – 1pm
Where: YMCA Bush Capital Lodge
Cost: $80 per person

Further information and details on how to book are available from The Canberra Environment Centre website.
