Police want to identify woman after alleged Bunnings Belconnen assault

Police are hunting for a woman after an alleged assault and theft at Bunnings Belconnen last month.

An ACT Policing spokesperson alleged a woman went into the hardware store at about 7:30 pm on 22 December 2024 and attempted to take a boxed Ryobi kit.

“When confronted by staff, the woman engaged in a physical altercation and allegedly spat on an employee,” the spokesperson said.

The woman then allegedly left the store carrying the item she did not pay for.

Police have now released an image of a woman they want to identify over the allegations.
