Tickets to one of Canberra’s most exciting after-dark events, Floriade NightFest, go on sale today.
Now in its seventh year, the ticketed twilight event will transform Commonwealth Park into an illuminated wonderland featuring brilliant lighting designs, roving performers, bustling night markets and a fantastic line up of entertainment over five nights.
Floriade NightFest’s new performance space, The Balloon Arena, will surprise visitors with pockets of activity and quirky circus acts, while The Inspiration Hub will offer a taste sensation through a variety of food and wine related workshops.
Each night visitors can relax with a drink in The Moonlight Lounge while enjoying side-splitting comedy from world-renowned comedians Tom Gleeson and Luke McGregor, and music from a great line up of local DJs.
Crowds can also wander through the night markets, take in stunning views from the 35-metre Ferris wheel and interact with roving performers such as one-man band Uptown Brown and tongue-tied mimes.
Floriade NightFest attracted a record crowd of Floriade NightFest will be held between 6.30pm and 10.30pm from Wednesday 24 September until Sunday 28 September. Tickets are on sale from www.ticketek.com.au, any Ticketek agent or by phoning 13 28 49.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children, $50 for a family (two adults, two children) and $10 for concession holders. Entry is free for children aged 4 and under, and entry to Floriade by day will remain free for all visitors.
