2XX is a pretty great thing to have here in Canberra.
They’re running a Radiothon, which is a weeklong fundraising event where they plan to give away hundreds of prizes.
Prizes are pretty great to have also, so this is like win/win.
Jamie Freestone, station manager at 2XX FM, is “really excited to be re-launching Radiothon again. As the third longest running community radio in Australia, 2XX FM has been a staple of the Canberra community, and Radiothon is our way of raising much needed funds to keep the station alive, while giving back to our community.”
“The notion is that all those who donate during Radiothon week will receive a gift from us.”
The gifts range from a tote bag full of goodies, which will require a donation of $25, to the more unique prize of Devonshire tea in the 2XX FM office with Jamie and the assistant station manager Meg O’Connell.
The Radiothon will run from the 27th of May until the 2nd of June and you should totally get involved and win stuff.
