Sometimes you just can't get off

I went on one of those rides that go around in a big loop upside down when I was little and my sister even littler. There were no harnesses in those days, just a big cushion thing that sat on your lap. As the ride started, we realised that there was too much of a gap between us and the safety cushion/bar, and my sister, being very little, kept on sliding out of her seat and falling onto the roof of the cage thing that we were in. One of the scariest rides I’ve ever been on… we were both screaming stop at the time. It was probably very funny to the people below. I never saw the ride again and am now very happy to watch other people scream for their lives

The Speed Freak or whatever it was called was pretty damn fun.

Errr, she needs a mute button.

the video was funny – would have been more funny to keep videoing and zoom in on the screaming woman at the end as she came running off the ride though.

I read this headline and thought ‘story of my life’.

Now i see it’s about a ride at the show.

It is making my nauseous watching the video.

Well that was two minutes of my life I’ll never get back . . .

My six year old son went on this ride in January when it was down at Batemans Bay with Bells Carnival. I went with him just in case he got scared. I needn’t have worried, he loved it. And he’s only 6.

Some people really should look at ride before they get on. The only way they’ll stop a it once you are on is if you lose your lunch.
