Just as we rejoice the first sightings of hot cross buns (usually on new Years Eve) let us rejoice again at the sight of that Christmas speciality ‘Mince Pies’ on sale (and on special!) in August!

This is about retailer wanting to extend the selling opportunities. Have I ever thought in August..’damn I could go for a mince pie right now?’ No.

Take the hint; Go Xmas shopping this weekend! Then come December you’ll be sitting back sipping eggnog while your friends & family contemplate gun-ownership as they navigate the throngs of thongs in Belco Mall.
