Just received Bob McMullan’s 2005 Christmas Card/Calendar in my mail box.

It is so political correct and even though he has placed “Christmas 2005” on the front cover it is has a very anti-Christmas feeling.

Well done Scrooge Bob!

My mistake – it wasn’t actually addressed to ‘The Householder’ (but might as well have been, since it was not addressed to anyone in particular) but yes, two fat cows under a tree (and no, it didn’t put me in mind of Annette and her staffer- not!)

Kerces, unfortunately I don’t have the gear to do that…can anyone else on the south side scan the Ellis card for RA? Chris? (if it’s still retrievable…)

Hey terubo could you scan Annette’s card in and send it to us?

Sure, you can have two fat blue cows standing in front of a blue gum…I’ll just colour them in, first.

I think the quilt thing has some reference to the fabric of society.

If so can I have one in blue.

Yesterday I received a Christmas card from Annette Ellis addressed to ‘The Householder’ –
it’s going right back RTS – what a waste of taxpayer’s money !

What’s with the quilt thing? I got one from Annette Ellis, with a square of a quilt by “internationally acclaimed quilter” Beth Miller. It showed the very appropriate Seasonal scene of two fat cows standing under a gum tree. And, as a Seasonal afterthought, phone numbers for Emergencies, Fire, Ambulance and Domestic Violence. Thanks Annette.

I got this card too and I thought it was nice, not offensive or overly politically correct. It featured a square of a quilt by local award-winning quilter Dianne Firth.

I’ll try and get a scan of it up later today.
