5:30 pm: ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to identify three youths who were seen near the scene of a fire in Bonner this afternoon.
About 1 pm, police and emergency services responded to reports of a grass fire on Djerrkura Street.
The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
Police believe three youths were in the vicinity before the fire started and would like to speak to them.
Police would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the fire or suspicious activity in the vicinity of Djerrkura Street, or who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area prior to and shortly after 1 pm.

1.30 pm: A bushfire is burning near the intersection of Djerrkura Street and Roy Marika Street in Bonner on Saturday afternoon (28 December 2024).
Crews from the ACT Rural Fire Service and ACT Fire & Rescue are working to contain the blaze, which is approximately 500m by 500m in size.
The ACTRFS is actively running a helicopter to assist with fighting the blaze, and it will be seen flying around the area.
The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.
There is no immediate danger to members of the community, and no properties are currently under threat as a result this fire.
