Residents of Casey and surrounding suburbs will be rushing to the new Casey Market Town for free coffee and entertainment this weekend as part of continued celebrations following its Grand Opening last week.
Thankful not to have to drive into the Gungahlin centre anymore, locals have called the new centre “amazing”, “clean”, “classy”, and “very convenient”.
Between 10am and 1pm on Saturday and Sunday, the first 250 customers will receive a free coffee voucher, as well as face painting and a jumping castle for the kids.
It’s a great opportunity to check out the new Supabarn store, which has been causing quite a stir on social media with its unique Farmer’s Market style fruits and vegetables section, seafood shack and freshly cooked donuts, hot chips, pies and sausage rolls. They even give the kids a free icecream to keep them happy while you do the shopping!
Casey Market Town is also home to a brand new Aldi store, which will run its ever-popular snow gear sale from Saturday 14 May. But you’ll have to get in early to avoid missing out.
True to its slogan “Live Well, Eat Well”, you won’t have to look far for a bite to eat. The centre contains an impressive selection of coffee shops and takeaway stores, including: Caffe Cherry Beans, Coffee Guru, Burger with the Lot, Subway, Domino’s, Sushi Island, Hot Wok and Zambrero.
You’ll also find a number of specialty stores including Anytime Fitness, Ray White, Priceline, Butts n Brew gifts and lotto, and Sundri Hair and Beauty.
The centre is open 7 days with loads of free parking, to make grabbing a few groceries or staying for lunch completely hassle free.
Event organiser Brianna Nix says, “It’s a great opportunity to come check it out – no matter where in Canberra you are from. Grab a free coffee, look around, check out the new Supabarn store and let the kids have some fun!”
Weekend Fun runs between 10am and 1pm on Saturday 14 May and Sunday 15 May.
Casey Market Town is located at 15 Kingsland Parade, Casey.
