I still have X:BTF in the closet. I totally lost faith in X2 after whoring myself for QV to promote it and I knew ALL the features they touted but skipped. Apart from that, an OK try in it’s own right, not a world class game but Egosoft have good ideas for expanding the genre.

Haven’t gotten a hold of X3 yet and ain’t trying. I got banned from Egosoft so I got the potted review from the Mad Goners, it’s really just an expansion and interface streamlining, not much else to say.

I even tried some modding of X2 but the scripting was so counter-sensible I almost threw my computer out the window.

Ahhhh, feels good to get that off my chest. Back to regular Riot ACT.

RandomGit, I do hope that you like X3. I love the X series, and didn’t have any problems with X2, although I haven’t played it in a while.

There are so many who villify SGS for his ‘shock jock’ rants but are still completely drawn in by them. That’s exactly what the shock jock wants, reaction, not necessarily agreement.

A get a good laugh out of what he writes here and on his site. Its a shame that spiteful thing on TSSH has lost her sense of humour and resorts to gutter language when her (well I assume its a her) arguments are countered. If any poster on this site needs a good one its definitely her.
