The Canberra Times has a story sure to inspire confidence in all territorians about the goings on in the ACT Treasury.
It all started with a Mark Patrick Mullins who appears to have been charged with taking his resume padding across the line.
Mr. Mullins is responding by alleging he’s being victimised for trying to clean up Dodge City.
Mr Grant suggested to Ms Pham that his client had first approached her in early 2002 with concerns over a senior colleague, Angel Marina, and “the conduct of commercial rates valuations”.
Ms Pham denied that any such allegations had been made. She denied also that she had signed terms of reference for an investigation into allegations of fraud within the rating system, the area of Treasury controlled by Mr Marina.
Mr Marina is a former top-grade rugby league player with the Canberra Raiders. He is expected to give evidence to the hearing this morning.
It then all gets very complicated and the murky Belconnen Pool deals get dragged into the mix which seems to be obligatory these days.
