No penalties for fraud in Housing ACT

The Canberra Liberals have found a rich field to plough with the issue of public housing in the Territory and can thank Deb Foskey for turning the current policies into a high profile issues.

Jacqui Burke is back behind the plough with another media release, pointing out that there are currently no penalties for fraud for tenants in public housing.

I imagine this stems from a policy of giving people houses for life so what point running fraud compliance?

There’s a lot to be gained by the government, and little cost, by outflanking the opposition to the right, so look for a shift here is my prediction.
