Unearthed Review is not impressed.
Today we’re having a listen to gl6be and writing about things I can’t pronounce makes my head hurt.
He’s got this to say about themselves:
Born and raised in Canberra, gl6be came onto the music scene in the summer of ’99 with his debut album Green Wave 1851 (created under the moniker ‘@ndrew’). With fresh ideas and bold plans he has kept a constant stream of creativity thats lasted up until this day. He is currently studying Digital Arts at the ANU and is also an avid filmmaker. Watch out for this boy, he likes to lurk in the shadows rather than bathe in the limelight – he could be sitting right next to you.
After a run of really great local acts this is a crashing disappointing.
One dimensional looping noodling goes nowhere and does nothing.
How it got a drum is a mystery to us when the only review online rates it 2/5.
With just the one song composition to listen to it’s hard to gauge.
One star for reminding me of better music.
