Chief Minister Katy Gallagher has announced the end to excavation works at the Cotter Dam.
“Today marks an important shift in focus from preparatory work to concrete placement. Excavation of the foundation has now been completed, and the pouring of concrete for the new wall will soon commence.
“The Enlarged Cotter Dam is the ACT’s flagship water supply expansion project that will increase the capacity of the Cotter Dam from 4 to 78 gigalitres.
Now comes the somewhat trickier bit of building the wall.
