Indigenous community ponies up space for Southside library

I have some kid’s books in great nick – anyone know who to contact to donate?

Actually, it might be a good spot for a library. Good books + green grass = relaxing afternoon.

I believe that a few people spend a lot of time and effort working for the benefit of the community.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our nation, they achieve things for our community betterment. The group that have got this library together, against all odds, deserve our support in what they are trying to do. The people of Boomanulla are a marvellous mob and their achievements not well know about. The hospitality there is a real revelation. The hearts the warmest you will ever meet in your life. The decorated emu eggs are absolutely exquisite. They will take derisive comments, such as the previous post, on the chin and keep going. Critics achieve nothing besides being negative. The Roman Emperor Nero did not stop people setting up new libraries in ancient Rome after his demise.

A sports & rugby league venue does not preclude it being used as another facility during non-sporting times. Why not give it a try; it may evolve into something really special.

I can just imagine all the old dears from Red Hill and Griffith going down to Boomanulla Oval for their library services! LOL
