In the market for a slightly used food van with a beer tap to start your own business? Or maybe an electric sightseeing bus or golf cart?
The collapsed Pialligo Estate food and hospitality business’s fleet of trailer vans and low-speed electric vehicles is going under the virtual hammer under instructions by HGW Finance.
According to the listing on the All Bids online auction site, all assets will be sold to the highest bidder unreserved.
The Kallaroo Road, Pialligo, business closed its doors in March. It went into liquidation the next month, owing more than $10 million to the ATO, suppliers, staff and customers but with little chance of paying a dividend to creditors.
All Bids lists four food van trailers, an electric utility vehicle with a stainless steel meal box for potential mobile food business ventures, an electric sightseeing bus for a tourism operator or wealthy land owner with guests, and a four-seat electric golf cart, probably not for the weekend hacker.
A 4.2 metre long 2018 box-shaped dual axle Hope ZZ420 food van leads the bids with side and front fold-out doors at more than $8000 (at time of writing).
The same van, but equipped with a beer tap, is $2000 cheaper at more than $6000.
The other two vans are smaller: arched 3-metre long 2018 Hope ZZ300 dual axle food van trailers with side doors attracting bids of $2500.
The other offerings are going for a song. So far.
The 2018 Marshell DT-6C two-person bright blue electric utility vehicle with a stainless steel meal box is only attracting a top bid of $210, but it does have a couple of minor dents to the panels.
Four metres long, it has a 5 kW motor, 10 six-volt batteries and charger, and runs at a top speed of 30 km/h.
In need of a safe, sustainable way to transport your guests or visitors around your estate?
The white 2018 Marshell DN-14F 14-person electric sightseeing bus is an open-air affair, but there is a roof.
There is only 2096 km on the clock and it “runs and drives well”.
It has a top speed of 28 km/h generated from a 5 kW motor.
The 4.8-metre-long bus has a few minor maintenance issues but is a bargain at the current bid of just $155.
There appears to be more demand for the 2018 Marshell DG-C6 four-person electric golf cart, which is fielding a top bid so far of $570.
It’s 3.8-metres long, has a 4 kW Motor and a top speed of 20 km/h, but needs its six 8-volt batteries replaced.
Bidding has a week to go with the hammer coming down on Tuesday, 24 October.
