Search for Sydney teen who's believed to be in Canberra

Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl who went missing from the South Sydney area, and is now believed to be in Canberra.

Aleisha Paleaae was last seen in the suburb of Chippendale on Saturday 30 March.

It’s believed she’s since travelled by train from NSW to the ACT, arriving at about 11:15 am on Thursday, 4 April.

Aleisha is described as being of Caucasian appearance with freckles, about 165 cm tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket and white shoes.

Anyone who has seen Aleisha, or who may have information about where she is, has been urged to contact ACT Policing on 131 444.
