The repairs are apparently being made at the expense of the artist, but when taxpayers have forked out $400k in the first place you’d expect some kind of warranty. The real question is what numpty approved the purchase of a fibreglass owl as an outdoor art installation?

Next time my house needs painting I’ll send it away to be done.
