Foxsports tells the tale of the Raiders’ improbable finals tilt with a long awaited home win, and over the Broncos no less.

Brisbane’s nightmare week has continued, going down 28-12 to Canberra, as the Raiders continued their fight to make the NRL finals.

The Broncos’ latest caning follows last Monday’s diabolical 42-22 loss to Parramatta and puts the Queensland side in seventh place on the NRL table with four rounds to go, making an all important top four finish less likely.

Canberra Raiders, meanwhile, moved to 22 competition points along with a host of teams including ninth-placed Newcastle.

But the Raiders need to win their last four matches to earn a finals berth.
