A 47-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle accident in Hennessy St in Belconnen today (1 February).
At about 5:15 pm this afternoon, emergency services were called to a single-vehicle accident involving a motorbike.
Members of the public and ACT Ambulance Service paramedics assisted the man before he was transported to hospital.
He died a short time later.
The man’s death is the second road fatality in Canberra this year.
ACT Policing’s Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
