A 46-year-old man is the fourth person to die on Canberra’s roads this year following a crash in Coree.

Emergency services were called to reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a motorbike on Brindabella Road at about 1:50 pm on Sunday (21 April).

The rider was treated at the scene before he was transported to Canberra Hospital.

He was declared deceased soon after arriving.

ACT Road Policing’s Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the crash and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage related to it is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, quoting reference P2249438.

The man’s death comes shortly after a 15-year-old boy died as a result of injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash on Adelaide Avenue.
