THE RIGHT STUFF – A HISTORY OF NASA’S MERCURY PROGRAM
The Right Stuff tells the story of ordinary men and women who shared a common ambition and together captured the imagination of the world. Beginning with the breaking of the sound barrier by Chuck Yeager in the Bell X-1, this adaptation of Tom Wolfe’s best-selling book of the same name follows the exploits of the “Mercury Seven” from their recruitment to the last flight of the Mercury program – NASA’s first attempts at human spaceflight. Starring Denis Quaid and Ed Harris this Oscar award winning film is a must see. Rated M for mature audiences.
